We celebrated the Super Bowl by having a family party...and invited a few other couples to bring their kids over to the barn. We set up a flat screen and connected it to some rabbit ears and managed to get an incredible picture for the game. It was a BYO dish to pass event and the hit of the night was the famed "bacon explosion". My friend Rob took this picture just after he prepped the beast for cooking. Look at all that bacon. It was great...and went well with all the great red wines we had that night. The bacon explosion was all over the internet, newspapers and the television as THE thing to make for this year's Superbowl. A once-in-a-lifetime indulgence I hope.
