What happened to the Golden Boy? Fresh in office and already getting pushed around by Nancy Pelosi, snubbed by a Republican minority that should not have the power that it seems to have at this point and quickly losing respect or at least support for his efforts to repair the economy from the public that so rabidly supported him. And let's not forget about those media folks from MSNBC, CNN and other that are slamming him now...wait...wasn't that the job of Fox news? He was going to fix our broken government...change was in vogue...but like women's hem lengths...is a moving target. He won...and he has said so much when challenged with differing opinions..."I won"...I won...that is why he can do what Nancy and Harry want him to do. That is why he can have tax cheats in charge of fixing this economy. Good luck Mr. President.

I am doing my best to help the economy...I am loaning money...to relatives, friends, etc. with no solid expectation of getting all or any of it back. I am buying songs on Itunes, eating out for lunch during work days and even going on vacation. I am helping to spend our way out of this mess. I would appreciate a tax cut, but the Man is probably going to raise my taxes. And that reminds me of something...I received an email last week from a friend that pointed out an interesting fact. Many WORKING Americans are required to take pre-employment and random drug tests in order to remain employed and receive their weekly or bi-weekly pay checks. This email suggested that we begin drug testing those folks that receive checks from the state and federal governments. You know...those folks that sit home and drink and do drugs...and are able to afford to do this because they are receiving your and my tax dollars. I know that not all of them do this...but what a novel idea. Why should they protest this? You want to be on the public dole...take a drug test...you fail...no check. WOW...how much money would that save us? These folks would have to go out and get jobs to afford their bad habits...just like the rest of us. OK...I am done ranting about politics for today. Thanks for reading...now go and watch the news...very funny these days.
