You have to look good at this picture to see me on the wind surfer headed out into the waves of the atlantic. I surfed for a few months as a teenager in South Africa and I figured that along with my extensive sailing experience with the famed Snark sail boat would make wind surfing come easy to me. It didn't take long for me to get going...you see me headed out to the waves in the picture. I made it past the breakers...was even airborn a few times. If I could only have figured out how to turn around. They sent a boat out to get me...bobbing up and down in the waves with the look of defeat on my face. I was drooling and sweaty and my left arm was asleep when I woke up from this nightmare....must have been all the fish I ate last night.
